When people ask Lily Hope why she weaves, what she loves most about weaving with others, and if she’s doing it for the legacy, the feel of wool, the recording of history, identity and dream, and if she loves teaching, mentoring and collaborating with the next generations of weavers, she DOES love all that.

But she really just does it for the cookies…often eaten in community with other artists. Because it’s the sweetest life when creatives get to eat cookies. Together.
